It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, targeted by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a team that has achieved everything.

It needed until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over five decades.

It's challenging for their batters to maintain a record if not provided the opportunity.

"An opportunity to go out there and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun that way, kind of motivated me," commented Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was out her side required another 66 at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the belief to do that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we believe we can succeed."

That comment will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a major tournament.

So strong is her resolve, she afterwards commented she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

Yet even as she afterwards confessed those fitness problems have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this tournament is likely to be her last as captain in ODI cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as skipper.

Victory in India would bring her to the top of her ultimate challenge.
